Herschel Walker

When I was 18 and a senior in high school I thought Herschel Walker might be the greatest college running back ever. At the age of 47 I have come to realize Hershel Walker is much more than that. Hershel Walker might just have the most longevity of any world class athlete in the history of any sport. If you think Brett Favre is an iron man take a look at Walker. At the age of 48 he is competing at a high level in the MMA beating guys that were not born when he won the Heisman trophy.

Who is Jason Cole

Jason Cole says JaMarcus Russell has more cred than Jay Cutler. JaMarcus Russell? The same guy that got arrested for rolling down the road drinking cough syrup? I guess the fact that Cutler couldn't plant and throw means nothing. How about this Jason. Maybe Cutler knew he would be hurting his team if he played. Something Favre and many more "tough" guys never learned. If Cutler would have run out one more time and limped off the field everybody would be happy. That's what's so ridiculous. We hear all the time "a professional athlete knows his body". Does Jason think he knows Cutler's body better then Cutler himself? Personally I think Cutler has one of the strongest arms in the league but makes poor decisions. If Jason wants to rag on Jay for making dumb decisions I have no problem with it but if he is actually going to put JaMarcus Russell in the same area code as Jay Cutler as far as credibility with team mates we should all send our resumes into yahoo sports because they are hurting for writers that have original thoughts so they employee writers with less credibility than Joseph McCarthy.

Girls High School Basketball score 108-3

Don't we hear of score every year in high school basketball weather it be boys or girls that that one team scores triple digits and the other one scores single digits and people all across America are appalled? Should any kid have to endure a loss like that? No! When I was 9 years old I was on a baseball team that won a game 32-3,....after 4 innings. There was a ten run rule that kept us from beating the poor kids 64-6. I think a forty point rule would be a good rule for high school basketball. If a team is up by more than forty points at half time or anytime after half time the game is over. I would be willing to bet that teams down by more than forty points at half time or in the second half have a below 1% chance of coming back based up on a sample of all high school basketball games ever played. This would save the kids the embarrassment of first getting beat so bad and then the national media making a big deal about it. We can't always depend on the adults to do the right thing I think the rule will make sure the right thing is done.

Carson Palmer wants out of Cincinnati or he is going to retire?

Retire or shut up Carson Palmer. You get paid millions to play a game and you are under contract to play that game.. If you are tired of starting quarterback money retire. I am sure you can make a prety good living on television.
