Randy Edwards has been in the gym business since 1986 and a personal Trainer since 1990. He was majority stockholder in The Gym Dallas when he purchased the business in February 1997. Mr Edwards owned stock in The Gym until February 2013 . He earned a BS in 1987 and a Master of Education from Texas Tech in 1989 respectively. He wrote several articles for Texas Athlete magazine in 1993-1994. From 1994-1996, he was co-executive producer and co-host of a self improvement TV show, Total Body Magazine, which aired in the Dallas/Ft Worth area, parts of Florida and Northern California. He now turns his attention to high school sports with the following mission statement, "It is my goal to bring quality high school sports programming and reporting to the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD in 2011-2012, and eventually to the state of Texas and the entire country.
